“The day I stop feeling nervous on the start line, it’ll be time to call it a day. The thrill will have gone”. That’s Maite Maiora, from Gipuzkoa in the Basque Country. She is 33 years old and the youngest of three siblings. She trains every day, competing to push herself and enjoy her freedom.
Her career is full of successes to date, with the 2016 Sky World Championship and the Spanish KV Championship 2016 and 2017 the highlights of her achievements to date.
