Carmen Ramos Vellón

Spanish champion 2021 AL and 2018 PC. Spanish medallist, former national record holder in the senior and junior categories. International with the Spanish Team.

Carmen is a senior international athlete in the Spanish national athletics team, specialising in combined events. She started at the age of 12 in throwing events, training mainly in the shot put and javelin. At the age of 15, she won her first medal in a Spanish championship in the combined events and that was a turning point in her sporting career.

She started training with the team of combined event athletes and with her coach Manoli Alonso, who she continues to work with.

Her track record includes:


➤ International competitions with the Spanish senior team on several occasions.

➤ She has held the overall Spanish record in Heptathlon.

➤ Overall National Champion on two occasions (Pentathlon and Heptathlon).

➤ Overall Spanish Medallist on two other occasions (Silver and Bronze).

➤ Winner of the Queen Sofia National Sports Award.

She has participated in international junior competitions with the Spanish team on several occasions, achieving semi-finalist positions, always in the top 20. She has also been a medallist in International Combined Events and has held the Spanish U20 Pentathlon and Heptathlon and U23 Heptathlon records.
