13-time Women's Trial World Champion, 5-time Women's Enduro World Championship winner and has achieved a Top 10 finish in the Rally Dakar.

Laia Sanz is a trialenduro and rally raid driver from Spain. Three-time Women's Trial World Champion and five-time Enduro World Championship winner.

In addition, she is seven-time champion of the Rally Dakar, in the female motorcycle class, in 20112012201320142015, in which she achieved the ninth place overall, the best finish ever for a female rider, 2016 and 2017.

Among the numerous prizes she has received, including awards from national and international magazines and newspapers, it is worth highlighting the Reina Sofia Premio Nacional del Deporte [National Sport Award] as the best female sports person of 2007.

In 2013 she received the Gold Medal from the Real Orden del Mérito Deportivo (Royal Order of Sports Merit), the highest sporting distinction available in Spain.
