DRINK SALTS 800 G POWDER

When carrying out high-intensity interval training over a prolonged period, there is a certain loss of mineral salts through sweating and the increase in respiratory rate as a mechanism to dissipate the rise in temperature caused by the production of energy. Loss of water and mineral salts (electrolytes) may increase when the temperature reaches or exceeds 25º. 

Among these mineral salts, sodium is particularly important, since it is the mineral excreted in the largest quantity through sweat, around 500-600 mg of sodium/hour, depending on weather conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.), intensity, duration and adaptation to the environment.

Major International Sports Medicine Organisations recommend that hydro-electrolyte replacement drinks contain a sodium concentration of between 460mg and 1,150mg/litre^1,3.
