After the physical exertion of a training session or competition, the body suffers from depleted or even exhausted glycogen stores, as well as a higher or lower rate of muscle protein degradation.

TOP 50/50^® RECOVERY 1:1 LEUCINE+ contains multiple sources of proteins of high biological value, which contribute to maintaining/regenerating damaged muscle mass, and a mixture of high-glycaemic-index carbohydrates, in the ratio of 1:1, in order to rapidly replenish glycogen stores in the muscles.

Its formula has been enriched with L-Leucine (100% Ajinomoto Co.), L-Glutamine (Kyowa Quality®) and hydrolysed collagen.

It is also a source of vitamins A, D, E, C and group B. Its vitamin C, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12 content helps to reduce fatigue, while vitamins C, E and B2 contribute to protecting cells against oxidative stress.

All of this gives us a gluten-free, low-lactose shake with a high concentration of proteins and low concentration of easily absorbed fats. Per serving, it provides 25 g of proteins of high biological value and between 9.69 and 10.29 g of essential amino acids, depending on the flavour.

The ratio between carbohydrates, proteins and other nutrients in this formula means it is recommended for improving recovery after practicing high intensity sports or exercising for more than 1 hour.
