Description

Endurance and/or high-intensity sports create the physiological need to replenish certain nutrients, such as easily-absorbed carbohydrates and electrolytes that contribute to good sports performance.

Recent scientific publications^2,3,4 show that a ratio of 1:0.8 glucose: fructose facilitates high carbohydrate absorption of up to 120g/hour by not saturating glucose and/or fructose transporters.

Each serving of ND4^® Triple Zero 1:0.8 contains 60 grams of carbohydrates, allowing for different combinations that provide 90-120⁶ g/hour.

Following the recommendations of the main sports medicine organisations^1,5 regarding the sodium concentration required in sports drinks for them to be effective, this product contains a sodium concentration of 1,000mg/litre (500mg per serving). It also includes other minerals such as potassium, magnesium, zinc and selenium in significant amounts to replenish electrolytes lost during physical activity.

Plus, it contains biologically active amino acids: 2g of BCAA in a ratio of 6:1:1 (100% Ajinomoto Co.) and 1g of L-glutamine (Kyowa Quality®) per serving.

The magnesium and vitamin B6 content of its formula helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Its vitamin C, B1, B2 and B6 content contributes to obtaining a normal energetic metabolism.

In addition, the selenium and vitamins C and E contribute to protecting cells from oxidative stress.

ND4^® Triple Zero 1:0.8 has been made without sweeteners, colours or added flavour. Its smooth and pleasant taste comes from the carbohydrate sources, minimising the saturation effect of the aftertaste of strong flavours.
