Endurance and/or high-intensity sports create the physiological need to replenish certain nutrients, such as easily-absorbed carbohydrates and electrolytes that contribute to good sports performance.
ND4® GEL TRIPLE ZERO 1:0.8 has been formulated taking into account those effects, concentrating the ingredients that contribute to their compensation during exercise.
It contains no sweeteners, colours or added flavours; offering a smooth and pleasant flavour created by the different carbohydrate sources.
The comprehensive formula of ND4® GEL TRIPLE ZERO contains:
- ✓ Carbohydrates in a ratio of 1:0.8 glucose vs fructose, in line with the latest studies published on carbohydrate oxidation efficiency1,2,3. This ratio helps carbohydrate absorption by reducing the saturation of transporters at the cellular level, resulting in a higher and more efficient energy intake per unit of time that can reach 120g/h4 with proper digestive training.
Each sachet contains 30g of carbohydrates, allowing for different combinations that provide 60, 90 and 120g/hr.
- ✓ Biologically active branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) in a ratio of 8:1:1, providing an extra supply of L-Leucine (100% Ajinomoto Co.) and L-Glutamine (Kyowa Quality®).
- ✓ 150 mg of sodium (Na+) per sachet, boosting the athlete’s hydration. It also contains magnesium, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
- ✓ Vitamin B1, which contributes to normal energy metabolism and Vitamin C, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and protection of cells against oxidative stress.
ND4® GEL TRIPLE ZERO 1:0.8 is unflavoured and comes in displays of 18 x 50g highly ergonomic sachets.
