Participating in endurance and/or high-intensity sports involves a series of physiological processes that increase the need for energy, water and regeneration of muscle damage. Without a sufficient supply of nutrients such as carbohydrates, electrolytes and amino acids during physical activity, sports performance can be reduced.

However, it is not always easy to introduce nutrients when running, either because they do not reach the concentrations established as effective or because of the logistics of the run itself. Fortunately, the concept of a bar allows nutrients to be concentrated in a practical, convenient and effective way so you can get the most out of your training and competitions.

ND4^® SOLID is the most popular technical bar due to its all-encompassing composition, providing carbohydrates from natural pressed fruit and sugars in a ratio of 2:1 glucose vs fructose (30g/bar), mineral salts such as sodium and amino acids such as L-Glutamine (Kyowa Quality^®) and high-quality BCAAs in a ratio of 8:1:1 (Ajinomoto Co) in their biologically active form. It also includes vitamins E and C, which contribute to protecting cells against oxidative stress, vitamins B1 and B6, which contribute to normal energy metabolism and zinc, which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

There are two versions of ND4^® SOLID: caffeinated, with 50mg of caffeine anhydrous per bar, and caffeine-free.

Another of its unique aspects is that its formula is free from fat, colouring and sweetener and it is not coated in sugar so as to facilitate digestion and transport. Its smooth and tasty passion fruit flavour is obtained by pressing natural fruit, chosen and pressed at the optimum moment of ripeness to provide a unique texture and flavour.

Besides these technical characteristics, it is also wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. This consists of a biodegradable wrapper that is able to protect the bar so it does not lose any of its properties, nor risk contaminating the environment.
