Spanish Marathon Champion
Estela Navascues, 30, trains at the Centro de Entrenamiento Soriano [Training Centre in Soria], under the watchful eye of Abél Antón.
She started her career in marathon running under the tutelage of Abel Antón and took part in the Olympic Games for the first time in Rio 2016. She secured her passport to these Olympics in the Spanish Championship in Seville, where she secured runner-up spot with a recorded time of 2.32:49. Estela Navascués first broke onto the scene in 2008 in Rotterdam. She is also Champion of Spain at 10,000 m.
